Play then continued at a rapid pace until just eight players remained. Not long after some of the biggest bounties were taken off the board, the money bubble was burst by the unfortunate "YguTj" as they were essentially blinded out in 145th place to secure the remaining players $250. Nevertheless, there was still big money up for grabs in bounties, as demonstrated by seventh-place finisher "Inspiro", who collected the majority of their total $8,999 payout in bounties. The top $20,000 bounty, which exceeded the regular prize pool first-place payout, ended up in the hands of "zxcdsaqwe" early in the day to dampen some of the excitement. Half of the $200,000 prize pool generated by the 1,328 entries was devoted to mystery bounties, with that element of the tournament coming into play on Day 2.
